What do I do if I have forgotten my User ID / Password?
From the login screen with your User ID entered, click on the Unable to Login? to access Password recovery. You will receive an email with a reset link.
If you have forgotten your User ID, contact your Administrator for help.
How do Filters work?
Filters enable you to select the rows of data displayed in the application grid based on certain criteria.
How do Views work?
Views enable you to control the columns of data displayed as well as the way the data is displayed in the application grid. For more information, see Working with Views.
Is a Quick Search available?
You can use the Quick Search feature in the command bar of the application grid to quickly search through the fields currently displayed.
Can I add pages to a favorite grouping?
The Favorites List feature of the Vizion Platform system enables you to save and easily access an application page with specific saved view options and filters.
Can I share a page link with others?
You can use the Share Page Link feature to send the shareable link for a page in your system to another user or you can copy the link and send it via email, or chat/text.
How do I add a Trackor®?
Users add Trackors to their system by clicking the Add button on the Trackor Browser page for the related Trackor Type and completing the required fields. See Adding Editing and Deleting Trackor Records.
What is a Trackor Browser?
The Trackor® Browser page is used to display selected Trackor data in spreadsheet fashion in the application grid.
What is a Trackor Tree?
The Trackor® Tree defines the relationship between Trackor Types.
What is a Trackor Type?
Trackor® Types are primary containers for organizing Configured Fields into a logical grouping to represent a business process or object.
How do I navigate to the Trackor® Browser page of a child or parent Trackor Type?
You can access the parent and child Trackors by clicking the Show Relations icon in the Command Bar. Parents are displayed at the top of the list above the line delimiter, while children are displayed at the bottom below the line delimiter.
Why am I not able to see all menu applications?
You need security privileges in order to view and edit data on application pages. Contact your Administrator if you need access you do not have.
Can I recover data if I have uploaded incorrect information?
The Recover function in Field History will enable you to change a field back to a previous value and also follows the Call Stack process. For example, if you have uploaded several versions of a PDF file to an E-File field, you can use the Recover function to restore the field to a previous version of the E-File.
How do I create a Configured Field?
The Vizion Platform allows for many different Field types (configurations). When you add a field to the platform, you assign it to a particular Trackor Type in the system.
What are tabs?
Tabs are where the fields are collected and displayed. They are used to organize the fields of a Trackor into similar types of information.
What are applets?
Applets are where the tabs of a Trackor Type are collected and displayed. They are used to organize tabs into groups of similar information.
Before adding an applet, you should lay out the design manually to design the look and feel of the applet. To create this mock-up, you need to make some decisions about the configured applet, including:
What information do you want to collect?
What tab names will you need?
What label and field names will you need? (You should create a list with the associated properties.)
What icon will you need to access the applet?
Where do you want the newly configured applet to be located in the system?
What is a configured V_Table?
Validation Tables (V_Tables) in the system are tables that contain a predetermined list of values that are used for drop-down and selector type fields.
How do I configure external applets?
External Applets are accessed from the Command Bar either as icons or by clicking the down arrow on the Edit button. These applets are not related to the Trackor Type but are “external” and can point to system applets or external sites.
How do I configure external tabs?
External Tabs are the Tabs that are included in a Trackor’s Applet while not being a part of that Trackor (they’re external to the Trackor).
What is an Audit Log?
The Audit Log enables the Administrator to see what changes users have made in the Vizion Platform system. Specifically, you can view a history of changes made to Tasks and WorkPlans.
What is DropGrid®?
DropGrid is a time-saving tool designed to import data directly into the Vizion Platform from your spreadsheets.
How do I create a Public Map?
A Public Map is a link that can be shared internally or externally with individuals who may not be users of the Vizion Platform system. Public Maps can be created by selecting the Public Map checkbox when using DropGrid or by manually adding. In order to create a Public Map, the administrator will need to set the Views and Filters in the Mapping application.
Is there a research tool to allow users to locate any E-Files within a Trackor Type?
The E-File Browser page enables you to see all electronic files (E-Files) for a selected Trackor Type.
How do I access specific task details?
The Tasks Details page allows you to access specific Task details of existing WorkPlans. You can highlight grid rows that have been modified within a period of time or by one or more users. The dates are color-coded to reflect how the WorkPlan is progressing. You can also access Rules and export Task details.
How can I see all of the Projected Dates in a selected WorkPlan?
The Tasks Summary page provides a quick and succinct overview of Projected (Finish) Dates for all of the Tasks in the selected WorkPlans.
Can I import my own data into the Vizion Platform?
The Import Data function enables you to quickly and easily capture data stored outside of the system and import that data into the Vizion Platform. The process takes unstructured information and places it in a structured database. Users may also use DropGrid to import their data.
Can I set up Mapping in the Vizion Platform?
The Vizion Platform uses configured fields that record latitude and longitude which can be displayed on a Mapping Page.
Where can I see the latest release notes?
Your OneVizion® Customer Success Manager manages the contact list for users and who receives a copy of our bi-weekly set of release notes for the Vizion Platform.
If I use the Vizion Platform Mobile Android App (FieldVizion) over an unsecured Wi-Fi connection, such as at a hotel or coffee shop, are my user credentials secure?
Your username and password are stored on your mobile device using Android OS level security. If you login to a site that supports the HTTPS: connection, your username, password, and all request data will be encrypted and will be transmitted over a secure connection. All of our “customer.onevizion.com” platform sites support HTTPS: connections.
