Common Icons and Their Functionality
The Vizion Platform uses icons to provide access to various functions in the system. The icons available on a page will vary depending on the use of the page, user permissions, and customization's to the system.
The User must be given "R" (Read) permission for each Application Icon. Application Icons will not appear if a user is not given Security Permissions for those icons.
Use the chart below to understand the purpose of common icons in a Vizion Platform system.

Icon | Name | Purpose |

 | Calendar / Date Picker | Click to quickly complete various date fields (such as Starting and Ending Task Dates) by selecting a date from a calendar. Click the Calendar Icon to open the Calendar Applet. Find the month and year and select a date by clicking it in the Calendar. You can quickly choose today’s date by clicking Today. To clear any data in the date field, click Clear.  |
Paperclip | Click to populate a field with an E-File. This will open the File Browser where users can select an E-File to load. | |
| Expand | Click to expand the display. For a Grid, expanding hides some of the Header and Command Bar items. Click the Expand icon again to redisplay the items. |
| Chat Messages | Click to open the chat panel. If the selected Trackor has an unread chat message, the Chat Icon will be magenta. |
| Trackor Comments | Indicates that the Trackor has chat comments. If the icon is magenta, the comments are new and unread. |
Pencil (Click for Detailed Info) | Click to learn more about a specific Trackor. | |
| Favorites | Click to add the current page to your Favorites menu. This is a handy feature for pages that you return to often. See our page on Adding Favorites. |
| Share Page | Click to share this page (including your View/Filter setting) with another user. Clicking the link opens a window where you can choose the recipient and method for sending along with space for describing the reason for sending or other comments. | Event Notifications | This icon will display with a number when an event notification exists. Clicking the icon displays the notification and gives opportunity for downloading. For more information, see Event Notification (Bell Icon). |
| Show SQL | Click to show the SQL that was executed to pull the data for the Application Grid by clicking the Show SQL Icon. |
| Color | Opens the Form Fields Color Option. |
| Allows the current tab to print as PDF. | |
| Zip | Allows the download of all files from this tab as a Zip file. If a tab does not contain any files, an error message displays. |
| Documentation | Vizion Platform documentation - opens the online documentation. |
| Show Trackor Type Tree | Use this icon to show/hide the Trackor Tree in order to choose a Trackor Type to display on the page. |
