Calendar View

The Calendar View page type shows trackable events in Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views in a user-friendly calendar format. Organizations can use this Vizion Platform feature to display any date-related information on a calendar, including workplan tasks already established in the system.

To use Task Date Source:

  • User needs Read privilege on the TASKS security group

  • Task must be non-NA

  • User needs either Read privilege on the Special Task Privs tab or Read privilege for the task date type (baseline, project, actual…) used for the date fields pair

Notes:

  • Task date assigned to child Trackor Type can't be used.

  • The User Setting “Hide Start Task Dates” affects how tasks dates display on the Calendar View. If Start Task Dates are hidden, only the finish date is used on the calendar, and it looks like a one-day event. If Start Task dates are shown, the duration of the task is shown on the calendar and can cover multiple days.

  • The Secondary Title attribute is not available on the admin form for Task date source, but it always shows a task label on the Calendar View in format:  "(<date_type_abbr> <task_order_number>) <task_label>"
