Classes
A Trackor® Class is an optional classification to use when you want to track multiple entities with significantly different properties in the same Trackor Type. A perfect application is a Master Parts Catalog where you might want to have Antennas, Cables, Radio, Cabinets, and so on in the same data group. These items would share some data fields but would also have their own unique set of data fields available when Classes are created for the Master Parts Catalog Trackor Type.
Once Trackor Classes have been established, they must be assigned to specific Tabs and Applets. The tabs, applets, Child Trackors will only be visible and usable if associated to the Class.
•Pros:
Fewer Trackor Types
Less complicated Trackor Tree
Easier Rollup
Simplifies user experience in Trackor Browser
•Cons:
Additional configuration required
