Administer Multiple Tenants (Multi-Tenant)
The Vizion Platform allows the implementation of Multiple Tenants within one instance of the platform so that users can access more than one tenant (previously referred to as “program”). You can quickly identify when your instance is “multi-tenant” and that you have access to more than one tenant when there is a tenant name displayed under the user name in the upper right corner of the system window.
Access List of Tenants / Switch to Different Tenant
In the example below, multiple tenants have been set up by the Tenant Administrator and the user has access to each.
In the upper right corner of the system window, click the tenant name under the username to see a list of available tenants for this user.
If you do not see a tenant name under the user name, your system is either not multi-tenant or you do not have access to an additional tenant.
To switch to another tenant, just click the tenant name and the system will switch to the new tenant.
Assigning the Tenant Administrator
To manage multiple tenants for a Vizion Platform instance, OneVizion sets up the Administrator as a “Tenant Administrator.” This means the Administrator will see Tenant Admin in their list of tenants as shown below. The Administer Tenants page that provides access to all tenants for an instance is available in the Tenant Admin tenant.
