Managing Database Jobs

 

Administrators are able to control database jobs by using the Manage Database Jobs page. This page shows jobs related to the Rule Types (periodic rules such as Nightly/Hourly), Imports, and BI Tables in the system.

The user will need privileges for the ADMIN_DB_JOB security group to use this page.

 

 

Using the Manage Database Jobs Page

On the Manage Database Jobs page, Administrators can:

  • manage jobs (see Managing Database Jobs)

  • see information about the last execution

  • open the related entity by clicking the "Entity ID" hyperlink.

In a Multi-tenant environment, if the user is logged into the "Tenant Admin" tenant, the Manage Database Jobs grid shows all database jobs for all tenants.

 

To access this page, navigate to Admin Center > System Administration > Manage Database Jobs

Entity ID

Hyperlink to the related entity’s edit form

Name of the entity

Job Name

Name of the scheduler job in the database

State

Status of the job run: DISABLED, RETRY SCHEDULED, SCHEDULED, RUNNING, COMPLETED, BROKEN, FAILED, REMOTE, SUCCEEDED

Repeat Interval

Frequency for the job defined for the entity

Start Date

Actual date on which the job was run

Elapsed Time

Duration of the job run

Last Run Status

The status the last time the job ran

Last Run Error

The last error for the job

Last Start Date

Last date when the job started running

Last Run Duration

Amount of time the job took to complete during the last run

Run Count

Number of times the job has run

Next Run Date

Next date on which the job is scheduled to run

Job owner

Shows where the job is being run (PROD01, DEV01, UAT01)

 

 

Managing Database Jobs

The Administrator can manage the jobs by selecting from available actions listed on the Command Bar or the ellipsis menu.
