Hide Tab Elements
Hide Tab Elements is the ability to hide one or more fields based on the value of a trigger field. This feature is configured on the "Hide Tab Elements" admin page.
This feature works within a single tab. Only drop-down and checkbox fields can be configured as trigger fields. These settings are exported/imported within the Tab component; they are also copied when a tab is cloned. The feature works only in the web UI for the Trackor/Task and WF forms (with Applet and Tab WF step types) and is currently not supported in the mobile app.
Adding Hidden Fields
Use the left panel to select the Trackor Type of the Tab for which you would like to ‘Hide’ fields.
In the example below, we have chosen the Project Trackor Type → Project Applet → Power and Backhaul Tab → and Backhaul Required Yes/No Field
Next, choose the Field(s) that will be used to control what is to be hidden.
To select more than one field use the ‘Control Key’. To select a batch of elements at the same time use the ‘Shift Key’.
Users may also hide a field with an empty value.

To prevent users from seeing the tab, the administrator may choose to NOT give that user “R” privs in the Security Role.
