Users will use the credentials supplied by the system administrator to login.

FieldVizion iOS shows all internal labels using language which the user selects on the login page. WorkFlow labels (step title, field labels, etc.) will be shown in the user-selected language too.

FieldDescription
UN/EmailUser Name or Email associated with the OneVizion account.
PasswordPassword associated with account.

In the iOS App, a user MUST be online to log in to the App. Once the user is logged into the App, the user can go offline indefinitely without being logged off and requiring re-authentication.

(This means that a user should, for example, be able to log in at their hotel in the morning, head out the field with no connectivity, and be able to access the App with having to enter User ID/Password while offline.

Users who do not have a login may use the link on the login page

Click/Tap on Log In and the log in process will begin. If login attempt is invalid the user will see the screen below.

Once login is successful the user will see the following screen. This will show all available WorkFlow Templates.

Once the user has logged in successfully, the login credentials will be saved in the local app storage and on the next application launch users will not need to enter their password again.

Application Screen

The Application Screen options are described below.

NumberDescriptionUsage
1Settings

In "Settings" users are able to Purge Downloads, View "About" OneVizion information, and Log Off. Users are also able to see the Host and Username.

2Template ListCount of active Templates listed on the display.
3Online/Offline

Users may choose to work Online  or Offline .

Some WorkFlows may not be available in Offline mode.

In the iOS App, a user MUST be online to log in to the App. Once the user is logged into the App, the user can go offline indefinitely without being logged off and requiring re-authentication. What this means is that a user should for example be able to log in at their hotel in the morning, head out the field with no connectivity, and be able to access the App with having to enter User ID/Password while offline. Even if the device battery dies or the device is rebooted the user should still be able to get back into the app while offline.

If User2 completes a workflow step while User1 is offline, when User1 goes back online the completed step will not be automatically deleted from User1’s app. The user can “force” a sync-up in multiple ways on the iOS App, but the simplest method is to drag down on the template list immediately upon going back online.

4Quick Search

Users may search values in the list by click on Quick Search button. Then the search window will open. This will limit the active workflows displayed to the search text entered. To close the search window use the Cancel button.

Users can filter tabs by status by typing part of the status label or full status label in the search box at Tab List window.

5TemplatesAvailable WorkFlow Templates. The Type of Template is displayed along with the number of associated WorkFlows.
6Start New WorkFlowOpens the selected WorkFlow.

Third-Party Licenses

Third-party licenses list window for libraries used in FieldVizion iOS has been implemented. The list can be accessed from Settings -> About -> Third-Party Licenses link

Starting a WorkFlow

For the Mobile app, the two methods for starting a workflow would be:

  1. Workflow creation following some event via Rules (I.E. work plan task completion, configured field update, etc.)
    • This requires rule configuration by a system admin
    • An example of this method would be the creation of a Closeout Package workflow for a particular Job when the WorkPlan task 'Notice to Proceed Complete' is populated
  2. Workflow creation within the mobile app
    • This requires consideration when designing the workflow template structure.
    • I.E., if the workflow creation requires the creation of a new Trackor®, then a PL/SQL step is needed at the beginning of the workflow to create the new Trackor entry

Some amount of configuration from the System Administrator is required for all workflow templates. Please refer to the WorkFlow Templates documentation for detailed information regarding setting up a WorkFlow.

Instruction and Configured Applet workflow step types are not supported.

The iOS App does not “sort” results returned for WorkFlow template lists and WorkFlow. The results appear as configured by the System Administrator.

To download the WorkFlow to device click on the Download Icon, .  When the WorkFlow download is complete the "Downloaded" icon,  will appear. The changes made to the WorkFlow will be saved and available on the host platform when user is online.

Latitude and Longitude locations will update when user open step has been implemented.

Completing Assigned Steps

Each tab contains a list of fields that users should fill with values that are determined by the administrator. From each WorkFlow step window users are able to perform the tasks by clicking/tapping on the Step Name.  Pressing the "Next" button will submit your Checklist Section for review. Once a Checklist Section is under review, you will no longer have access. Are you ready to submit for review?"

If there is a submit error, a red bar will be shown.

The updates to individual configured fields are changed and actualized in the database regardless of whether the workflow has been completed.
